NEWS BRIEFS: County now has 13 glass recycling locations

Gwinnett County and Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful, in partnership with Ripple Glass, have added 10 new glass recycling locations across the county. The County’s glass recycling program allows residents to drop off glass for safe and sustainable recycling.

NEWS BRIEFS: Library offering competition for young filmmakers

The Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL) is inviting the public to celebrate the creativity and technical skills of young filmmakers at the annual Teen Film Challenge (TFC). The competition is organized by GCPL to showcase the work of young filmmakers using the library system’s Learning Labs.

FOCUS: Update on Norcross’ new library, Buford Highway improvements

By Josh Bare, city councilman, Norcross | The Norcross City Council is honored to be working closely with Gwinnett County and Commissioner Lynette Howard to plan a new Norcross Branch of the award winning Gwinnett Library System. We see this building as a cornerstone towards re-development on Buford Highway and serving as a pivotal hub for the community to mix and mingle as they enjoy everything a modern library has to offer.
