The last mystery photo got few responses, even though it’s a park in Gwinnett County. Wally Watson of Stone Mountain identified it as McDaniel Farm Park in Duluth.

The recent Mystery Photo again brought in multiple correct answers. The idea behind the photo came from Marlene Buchanan of Snellville. Holly Moore of Suwanee wrote: “That is a photo of the Joel Chandler Harris house, ‘The Wren’s Nest’ on Ralph D. Abernathy Boulevard in Atlanta.

Man alive! The response to the most recent Mystery Photo was heavy, as 19 readers, some newcomers, recognized the photo at Buford Dam. The photo was from the top of the dam, looking south to the foot of the dam. It was from Larry Zani of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and was made in the summer of 1987.

We thought the last Mystery would be tough and it proved to be that way. Only Allan Peel of San Antonio, Tex., identified the photo, which was sent in by George Graf of Palmyra, Va.
