BRACK: Wheels of justice eventually move, but usually ever so slow
By Elliott Brack | The wheels of progress sometimes turn mighty slowly. Yet every now and then, the wheel moves a little so that when changes arrive, it sometimes surprises us. Earlier this year, the Supreme Court restricted the ability of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ruling to regulate climate change. That thwarted the Biden Administration. But help was soon to be on the way.

By Jack Bernard | The signed “Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act” by President Joe Biden is liked by a wide majority of the American voting public with only 24 percent opposing it. Even among Republican voters, only 44 percent are in opposition, despite Trump’s comments and those of other right wingers.

By Elliott Brack | A proposal from the Biden Administration got bankers across the country, including those in Gwinnett, all hot and bothered this week. Proposed legislation would have required that the banks and credit unions give far more sensitive banking information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) about the bank’s depositors.
BRACK: Thank you, Mr. President, for getting our troops out of Afghanistan
SEPT. 3, 2021 | Thank you, President Biden. Thank you for taking the bold steps in leadership in getting out the last of our military troops entirely out of Afghanistan by your own August 31 deadline. You did what three other presidents did not or would not do. You also completed this evacuation in the face of unwarranted criticism of your actions.
