ANOTHER VIEW: Despite setbacks, Gwinnettian enjoyed Antarctic adventure

By Jo Ann Nelson  |  After getting new clothes at an Ushuaia store, someone on the ship asked if anyone had any regrets about the trip. I spoke up and said that I had planned to do the Polar Plunge and regretted not being able to do that.  One of the crew leaned over and said he thought the wave coming into my room counted as my Polar Plunge.  It all depends on your perspective.

FOCUS: Gwinnettian visits 7th continent, but wow!  It is an adventure

By Jo Ann Nelson  |  It hit me when in Australia that I only had two more continents to go:  South America and Antarctica.  This was in 2019. So, I signed up to fly to Argentina, and boarded a Viking ship to Antarctica.
