NEWS BRIEFS: Snellville to mark its centennial weekend of August 18-19
Snellville’s Centennial will be celebrated through a variety of events on the weekend of August 18-19. The celebration kicks off at 4 p.m. Friday, August 18 on the Towne Green with a variety of food trucks, music, fun and games along with an antique car display on Oak Road representing cars dating back to 1923.
FOCUS: Gwinnett firm improving safety of college sports
A Peachtree Corners company is designing and manufacturing sporting equipment worn by youth and high school football teams, college teams, and most recently, mandated by the National Football League. Guardian Innovations was formed in 2011 by Erin and Lee Hanson, along with other family members and dedicated employees.
NEWS BRIEFS: Partnership between Peachtree Corners, Fusus bolsters safety
The City of Peachtree Corners has partnered with Fusus, an organization located within their rapidly growing high-tech hub, to provide enhanced public safety services to local businesses and residents. Fusus is a nationally recognized public safety technology provider that has operated out of its headquarters in Peachtree Corners since 2019.

We commend the City of Peachtree Corners, Mayor Mike Mason and its city council, for not hosting an event to tell a few people about the state of the city, but in presenting a 22 minute video outlining the present activities of the city as Year 2022 closed out.
